Sephardi Minyan
Sephardi Minyan
Young Israel of White Plains is proud to be home to a flourishing Sephardic Minyan that reflects the rich traditions and diversity of Sephardic / Mizrahi Jewry (Syrian, Moroccan, Iraqi, Israeli, Yemeni iranian and more ). Representing young and old families with roots in many different countries, this children friendly minyan has become a meaningful expression of unity within our broader kehilla.
The Sephardic Minyan is distinguished by its inclusivity and warmth. With a spirit of genuine ahavas Yisroel, it has created an environment where all feel welcome and valued. This sense of belonging has fueled steady growth and has strengthened the bonds of community among participants.
Equally central to the minyan is its deep connection to Eretz Yisrael and the values of religious Zionism. Through tefillah, learning, and shared commitment, the minyan affirms its strong ties to the Jewish people and the State of Israel, embodying the ideals of faith, tradition, and collective responsibility.
We invite all interested to experience the inspiring ruach, rich heritage, and welcoming atmosphere that define the Sephardic Minyan of Young Israel of White Plains
